Steve Bellamy is a Nelson based landscape painter who specialises in capturing the New Zealand coastline.
Steve Bellamy paints in acrylic where he creates depth, movement, and light, bringing his work alive. Being a keen seaman, enables Steve to observe and create some incredible artworks on canvas. Steve Bellamy graduated from Ilam School of Fine Arts in 1980 where he specialized in graphic design. He went on to complete a four year apprenticeship in Christchurch where he immersed himself in hand painted murals, billboards, and sign illustration. He now paints full time. |
