ARTISTS' BIO

ANDIE KING

I am a Queenstown based artist whose artworks are inspired by the beauty of the mountains and lakes surrounding me.
I am heavily influenced by the beauty of distressed and aging paint/objects with an industrial twist.  I work with acrylic on objects such as textured canvases, wood and more recently on riveted recycled aluminum panels.
As a self taught artist every painting takes me on a journey of learning and discovery.
