ARTISTS' BIO:
AIMEE GUTHRIEAimee Guthrie works predominately in the medium of oil painting, she paints a variety of subjects, most recently focusing on animals, in particular, hares, rabbits and horses. She also loves to draw and particularly enjoys drawing portraits, working in pencil or charcoal.
Aimee completed an Advanced Diploma in Art and Creativity at The Learning Connexion in 2012. She has been selected as a finalist in the Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Awards in Whakatane in 2012, 2015 and again in 2016 and regularly exhibits in the NZ Art Show in Wellington. She lives and works in Napier, Hawke’s Bay and is represented by Art on Tyne Gallery in Oamaru and Deciduus - Fine Art & Plant Boutique in Tirau. Her work is in many private collections, including the James Wallace Trust Art Collection. |
