My name is Glynn Davies
I am Marlborough born and bred, so haven't got out of this small pond yet. As a teenager, I spent a lot of my time drawing, and art was my one thing to be good at. Lacking confidence and not knowing what to do with myself and not believing my teachers when they said your future is in art art boy I instead chose the first apprenticeship that came my way. I have since spent thirty three odd years in the flooring trade.
In 2006 I was feeling the creative pull having done no real art since leaving school I picked up a brush. The results were not great but I loved it. A busy life has stopped me doing a lot in terms of output but in my heart it is all I want to do. When I work on my art I do it with an intensity and demand constant improvement . I now know ( A bit late) that I need to narrow my focus and art has to be near the top. I still haven't done enough to know how I paint yet ( my style) but here goes. So, please make sure your seat belts are fastened and food trays are in the upright position and come along for the ride.
